History

The Cross for Juchi (Cruz por Juchi) was authorized by the imperial regency of Mexico in 1822. It was awarded to Mexican Officers and Chiefs under the command of Colonel Anastasio Bustamante, who prevented the regrouping of Spanish royalist forces at Juchi (Juchitepec) in 1822.

The Cross features a clasp in the ribbon with the inscription JUCHI.
