Multi-piece construction, in silver gilt with red and blue enamels, measuring 53.7 mm (w) x 85.5 mm (h), intact enamels, scattered gilt wear, light contact, on its original full-length neck ribbon, better than very fine.
The Order is awarded for extraordinary service to Thailand, and it is conferred upon national and foreign citizens, members of the Royal Family, government employees, and foreign dignitaries.
The Order of the Crown of Thailand is awarded to those who are not qualified for the Order of the White Elephant.
The Order may be awarded to both men (Knight) and women (Dame), with a bow ribbon distinguishing the Dame awards.
There may be a discrepancy in size between the Order grades awarded to men versus those awarded to women.
