History


The Decoration for the Builder of the Lenin Steelworks was established by the Polish People's Republic in 1956 to commemorate the opening of the Lenin Steelworks, but it was discontinued following the collapse of the communist regime in 1989. It was awarded to all those who had participated in the construction of the Steelworks, including foreign specialists who had worked on the project.

The Silver Decoration features an obverse inscription can be translated to "Builder of the Lenin Steelworks."
