This Medal was established by King Christian X to commemorate the 25th anniversary of his military graduation, to recognize all fellow classmates of the King who graduated with him in 1891.
The ribbon of this medal is the same as the ribbon on the Order of the Elephant.
King Christian X, who was a prince at the time, began training at the Frederiksberg Castle Officer School on October 5, 1889, and completed his training on March 20, 1891.
