Physical Description

An ovular medal constructed of bronze. The obverse bears a crowned "L" cipher within an oak leaf wreath. The reverse bears the inscription "K.B. 10 INFANTERIE REGIMENT KÖNIG 1682-1932" with an oak leaf at the bottom. On a loop for suspension with a black ribbon with yellow stripes.

History

The Bavaria Regimental Commemorative Medal was established under Crown Prince Rupprecht in 1932, alongside three other medals to commemorate the 250th anniversary of Bavaria’s four oldest military regiments.

The medal was awarded to the regiment's former members.
