History


The Brienne Victory Medal was established on February 8, 1814 by King Friedrich I of Württemberg. It was conferred upon all military personnel who participated in the Battle of La Rothiere against France on February 1, 1814.

The Gold Medal was conferred upon all regimental officers who assisted with combat operations.
