Members of an Aeronautical Preparatory Technical School (Fliegertechnische Vorschule) wore a rhomboid on the lower left sleeve. Initially they wore a cuff title, but this was discontinued on an unknown date.

The insignia is black with the off-white school title and location in Gothic letters and a swastika over two crossed oak leaves. It also has an off-white border.
