History

The Honour Chevron for Former Members of the Police and Armed Forces (Ehrenwinkel für Ehemalige Polizei- und Wehrmachtsangehörige) was introduced on July 25, 1935. It was issued to veterans of the SS who had served in the Police Force, Armed Services, or another party organisation.

The chevron was worn on the upper right sleeve.

The chevron is composed out of two silver tresses that have been attached to form a "V". The "V" has been attached to a black cloth backing and an aluminium star has been embroidered between the two stems of the "V".
