Physical Description


A straight-armed cross pattée constructed of silver. The obverse centre bears a circular medallion with the monogram "W". The reverse centre bears a circular medallion with the number "20". On a loop for suspension, with a blue ribbon with yellow stripes.

History


The Long Service Cross for NCOs (Non-Commissioned Officers) and EMs (Enlisted Men) for 20 Years was established on April 1, 1833. The cross was conferred upon those who rendered active military service for 20 years. It was awarded until 1886.
