Conjoined busts left of Catherine the Great, crowned, and Alexander II,uniformed, signed on truncation / Cross of the Order of St. George, intitals П.M.P. below. Rare. Steely gray with pale iridescent highlights.

History


This medal was awarded to commemorate the centenary of the Saint George's cross.

The obverse of the medal translates to "Catherine II imperator and Alexander II Imperator of all Russia". and the reverse translates to "for service and bravery".
