History


This medal commemorates the coronation of Alexander III. It was conferred upon military and civilian personnel of all ranks, who actively participated in the coronation ceremony.

The obverse inscription translates to: "By the Grace of God Alexander III Emperor and Autocrat of All Russias". The reverse inscription translates to: "Crowned in Moscow 15 May 1883".
