The Order of Agricultural Merit is conferred upon Central Africans in recognition of meritorious agricultural service. Every member is received as a Knight, and promotions may only be made after 5 years in the lower grade.

There is an annual limit of 50 Officers. The obverse inscription translates to "Order of Agricultural Merit," and the reverse inscription translates to "Central African Republic, Unity, Dignity, Labour."
