History

This medal was established by Sultan Mulay Yusuf bin Hassan in 1914, and it was discontinued on May 16, 1963.

It is awarded to Non-Commissioned Officers and other ranks, and those of similar civilian ranking who work for the protectorate administration.

This medal may be associated with the Sharifian Order of Alawi.

The obverse features Arabic script.
