History

The medal is conferred upon members of the Civil Service, Army, Police Force, and Prison Service.

The Civil Service ribbon has one green stripe, one black stripe, one blue stripe, and two yellow stripes.

The Army ribbon has alternating red and white stripes.

The Police Force ribbon has alternating blue and white stripes.

The Prison Service ribbon has alternating green and white stripes.
