History

The Medal of Safety and Public Tranquility (translated to English as Good services Medal of the Military Police of the Federal District) was part of a group of medals granted by the Brazilian federal government of the beginning of the 20th century, in recognition of the effort of the police force to keep the control after the republican revolution.

It was awarded to Officers and members of the Police Force of The Federal District of Brazil who rendered good service towards the security, and peacefulness of the public.
