The Federal Government of Buenos Aires Medal (Medalla por la Federalización de Buenos Aires) was instituted by the government of Argentina to commemorate the foundation of Buenos Aires as the capital city of Argentina in 1880.

It is no clear who was awarded with this Medals.

The Medal features an obverse inscription that translates to "December 6, 1880," and a reverse inscription that translates to “Buenos Aires Capital City of Argentina.”
