History

The Medal for General Daniel Cerri (Medalla para el General Daniel Cerri) was instituted by the government of Argentina, in recognition of General Francisco José Daniel Cerri, who was a very important General at the Argentinian Army through the last half of the 19th century. He participated at the civil war between Unitarians and Federalists, and he also fought against the Indians at the Deserts expeditions, as well as at the War of the Triple Alliance (1864-1870).

Besides General Cerri, it is not clear who was the recipient of this Medal.
