History

The Medal for the Police Personnel Wounded in Service (Medalla de la Policia al Herido en Servicio) is conferred by the Province of Buenos Aires upon police personnel who was wounded while the performing of their duties in an armed engagement.

There is two Classes of this Medal whereas Extraordinary and Distinguished Official grades. The Extraordinary grade is awarded to personnel who was wounded, and the Distinguished Official grade is awarded for who was seriously wounded.
