The Medal for the Winners of Pocito (Medalla para los Vencedores del Pocito) was authorized at Argentina in 1861, and it was conferred upon the army division “Batallon Derqui” who defeated the Governor of San Juan, Antonio Aberastain, and his troops at the battle of Rinconada del Pocito on January 11, 1861.

The Medal features an obverse inscription that translates to "Winners of Rinconada," and a reverse inscription that translates to "A Triumph of Law."
