History

The Medal for the Entry of President Melgarejo to Potosí (Medalla por la Entrada del Presidente Melgarejo a Potosí) was established by the Bolivian government of Manuel Melgarejo, in commemoration of his entry into Potosi in 1864 when he became president of Bolivia for second time, after to seized power in a military coup on 28 December 1864.

It is not clear who was the recipient for this Medal.

The Medal features an obverse inscription that translates to "December 20, 1867 at Potosí," and a reverse inscription that translates to "Entry of His Excellency the General President Melgarejo."
