The Order of the Civil Service of the State Liberator Ramón Castilla (Orden al Servicio Civil del Estado Liberador Ramón Castilla) was instituted on January 4, 1994, as the highest distinction for civil servants in Peru.

The Order is awarded in recognition of meritorious services rendered to the state during the performances of their duties. The grades are Grand Cross, Grand Officer, Commander, Officer, and Knight.

The Order's designer was R. Pelletier. The official maker is the National Mint of Peru, Lima (Casa de la Moneda, Lima).
