History

The Order of Cacique Urraca was founded in 2002 to reward Panamanian citizens and foreigners for extraordinary merit improving the human rights of indigenous peoples and encouraging their culture and customs.

Presumably, the Order has only one grade.

Urracá or Ubarragá Maniá Tigrí was a brave indigenous in the region of present-day Panama, who fought against Spanish colonization in the early years of the conquest. He fought until his death in 1531.
