The Medal for Veracruz (Medalla por Veracruz) was instituted by the state of Veracruz, Mexico in recognition of the military personnel who participated in the defense of the city of Veracruz during the Second French Intervention from 1863 to 1867.

The Medal features an obverse inscription that can be translated to "The State of Veracruz to the Brave Patriot," and a reverse inscription that can be translated to "He Fought without Resting against the Enemies of the Fatherland."
