The Air Force Maintenance and Munitions Badge is worn by Officers and enlisted men of the United States Air Force who serve in aircraft maintenance and munitions or space and missile maintenance career fields. The Air Force Maintenance and Munitions Badge is awarded in 3 grades.

The Basic Badge is awarded as the 3rd grade upon graduation from a technical school in a designated maintenance speciality. The Senior Badge is awarded as the 2nd-grade to Officers upon the completion of 7 years of service in a maintenance and munitions speciality and to enlisted personnel after the award of 7-skill level. The Master Badge is awarded as the highest grade to Officers in recognition of 15 years of service in a maintenance and munitions speciality and to enlisted personnel ranked as a master sergeant or above with 5 years in the speciality since the award of the 7-skill level.
