History

The Federal Aviation Administration Valor Medal is awarded to Federal Aviation Administration employees in recognition of acts of heroism or courage which involves a risk to personal safety. Performances of outstanding courage made in service to the United States or to humanity which occur while serving in an official capacity or as a private citizen are eligible for the award of the Bronze Medal.
