History

This medal was conferred in recognition of patriotism, loyalty and national pride. It was awarded to members of the Royal Khmer Socialist Youth, members of the People's Socialist Community Movement, members of the Royal Khmer Armed Forces, and clergy of the Buddhist Movement.

The obverse Khmer inscription translates to "Nation, Religion, the Royal Throne" and roughly, "A Society of and for the People".
