History

This medal was issued during the Kuomintang Era (1928-1949). It was conferred upon military personnel in recognition of exceptional performance or for outstanding technical skill.

The I Class, II Grade Medal was awarded with a ribbon with a central blue stripe bordered by white and blue, and edged by wide red stripes.

The reverse features Chinese characters.
