History

The Order was founded to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the founding of the People's Democratic Republic of Korea, and to celebrate President Kim Il Sung and his governance.

Identical to the Commemorative Order "Foundation Of The People's Democratic Republic of Korea", except for the additional numbers indicating that the badge is for the 50th anniversary.

The obverse and reverse inscription are a translation of the original Korean inscriptions featured on the badge.
