History

The Order is conferred for efficient and meritorious service within professional labour sectors.

The Order of Korean Labour, Type I was replaced by Type II in the early 1970s and the earlier badges of the Order may be numbered on the reverse.

The obverse and reverse inscriptions are translated from the original Korean inscriptions.
