The medal is also known as Prasiddha-Seva-Padaka. Instituted by King Mahendra.

Awarded in recognition of 2 years of service as aide-de-camp to the King, until the end of the Nepalese monarchy in June 2008.

The obverse features an inscription in Nepalese, a star, a sword, and crossed kukri. The reverse features an inscription in Nepalese.
