History

This medal is also known as Sainik Seva Padak. Instituted by King Mahendra. This medal is no longer awarded due to the abolition of the Nepalese monarchy in June 2008.

Conferred upon Nepalese military personnel in recognition of 10 years of service and good conduct.

The obverse features a central star, a map and a Royal Headdress. The reverse features Nepalese script and is dated "2023" (V.S. 2023 = A.D. 1966).
