History

The medal is also known as Sahaya Parakram Padaka. Instituted by King Mahendra. This medal is no longer awarded due to the abolition of the Nepalese monarchy in June 2008.

Conferred upon Nepalese Police Officers in recognition meritorious service.

The obverse features an inscription in Nepalese and a Royal Headdress. The reverse features an inscription in Nepalese, a crossed kukri and sword, a wreath, and is dated "2022" (V.S. 2022 = A.D. 1965).
