History

It is conferred upon members of the AFP in recognition of service in the Pacific Theatre. Until July 4, 1946, the Philippines were a US protectorate; thus, Philippine military personnel were entitled to US awards.

The obverse features an inscription.

This is the Philippine-made version of the US Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal.
