Physical Description


A flared-ended five-pointed star superimposed over a yellow enamel base with a green enamel wreath, the reverse is inscribed with VIETNAM within a border inscribed with TAM LY CHIEN BOI TINH, with a wreath suspension, on a blue and white striped ribbon.

History


This medal is conferred upon personnel and cadre of the Information and Open Arms Service in recognition of 15 years of service, meritorious service, or have been wounded during duty. It is also awarded to other for meritorious service to the Information and Open Arms Service.
