Badge (with wreath)
Estimated market value:
The 1st Grenadier Division Badge was worn by members of the 1st Grenadier Division of the Polish Armed Forces in the West. This division was formed during the Second World War in 1939 and was disbanded a short time later in 1940.
There are three versions that differ in design or manufacturer. The first version does not have a wreath on the obverse, while the others do. All three versions feature initials that stand for "1 Dywizja Grenadierów" (1st Grenadier Division) and an additional inscription that translates to "God, Honour, Fatherland."
