History

This Order is conferred in recognition of outstanding gallantry during battle and skill in the defence of the nation.

The II Class Cross is awarded to Armenian military personnel and Senior Commanders for successfully fulfilling military orders, and others who make significant contributions to fulfilling military orders. It is also awarded to employees of National Security, Customs, and Internal Affairs, and individuals demonstrating bravery during the maintenance of public order.
