History

This medal was conferred in commemoration of the 65th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Germans.

It was awarded to foreign and Belarusian WWII veterans, foreigners who served in the war, and military personnel and civil servants who promoted the memory of the victory and events surrounding the anniversary.

The reverse Cyrillic inscription translates to "65 Years of the Liberation Belarus from German Occupation".
