History

This medal was conferred in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Belarus Police.

It was awarded to Belarusian Police Officers for outstanding performance and meritorious service, and to retired officers in recognition of at least 20 years of service. It could also be awarded to foreigners for strengthening cooperation between law enforcement agencies, and to civilians for assisting Police Officers.

The obverse Cyrillic inscription translates to "80 Years". The reverse Cyrillic inscriptions translate to "To commemorate the 80th anniversary" and "Belarusian Police".
