History

This Medal was primarily conferred upon Czech members of the Police Force in Iraq. It was also awarded to members of the MNF, a multinational force serving in Iraq.

Each group of recipients is awarded the same medal, with a slightly different inscription on the reverse.

The medals awarded to Czech members of the Police Force in Iraq feature the reverse inscription “IZ SFOR IRAQ – AL SHAIBAH 2004.”

The medals awarded to members of the Multinational Force in Iraq feature the reverse inscription “MNF (I) IRAQ – AL SHAIBAH 2006.”
