History

This Cross was founded by the Minister of Defence of the Czech Republic, and it is conferred upon foreign and Czech military personnel in recognition of heroic combat services.

It may also be awarded for meritorious leadership in combat, and for risking personal health and life to defend the Czech Republic.

The reverse is numbered, and the reverse inscription translates to "Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic."
