History

The Badge of the Sacred Legion was created at the end of 1942 or the beginning of 1943. It was worn by Officers, Non-Commissioned Officers, and enlisted men of the Sacred Legion Battalion that fought in North Africa from 1942-1944.

The Bronze Badge has an obverse inscription that translates to "Win or Die," and a reverse inscription that translates to "Sacred Legion."
