History

The Medal for the Struggle of North Epeiros was created in October 1935, but it was not officially confirmed by Royal Decree until September 13, 1936. It was awarded to all those who participated in the battles for North Epeiros in 1914.

The II Class Medal features an obverse inscription that translates to "North Epirote Struggle 1914," and a reverse inscription that translates to "Kingdom of the Hellenes 1936."
