History


The Medal for the National Assembly of 1922 was established by Royal Decree on September 30, 1835. It was awarded to the members of the First National Assembly, which was held in Epidaurus in January 1922.

Approximately 65 Silver Medals were struck by the Athens Mint in 1837. The obverse inscription translates to "Greece in Gratitude," and the reverse inscription translates to "National Assembly 1822."
