History

The Order of the Wolf of Gediminas was established by the Lithuanian Scouts Union in 1924, but it was suppressed along with all other Lithuanian awards in 1940. It was awarded to senior Scout Union leaders, both Lithuanian and foreign, as well as to senior politicians and military personnel, but only under exceptional circumstances.

A total of 16 Silver Badges were awarded from 1924-1940.
