History

This Order was conferred in gratitude to individuals that offered help and care to the wounded and sick during the Balkan Wars, and other wars.

It is unknown whether all six types of the Order were awarded, or if some were only used as samples.

The standard model of this Order was manufactured in the Parisian Mint, G. Lemaiter; yet several models were manufactured in the Herman Silberberger Mint.
