History

The Order of Manhood and Loyalty was established in 2004 as an extension of the Medal of Valour and Loyalty. It is conferred upon Romanian Officers and civil servants of equal status in recognition of meritorious services rendered in the fields of public order and national security.

Membership in the Knight grade is limited to 4600 members.

The Knights (for Military Personnel and Special Civilians) features laurel and palm branches in the obverse medallion. Both versions have a reverse inscription that translates to "Valour and Loyalty."
