History

The Medal of the 25th Anniversary of the Proclamation of the Republic was created in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Romanian People's Republic. It was awarded to Romanian citizens in recognition of meritorious contributions to socialism in Romania.

The Medal has an obverse inscription that translates to "25 Years Since the Proclamation of the Republic." It was awarded with a silver-coloured clasp that features the crest of the Republic.
