History

The Medal of the 5th Anniversary of the Romanian People's Republic was created in commemoration of the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the Romanian People's Republic. It was awarded to Romanian citizens in recognition of meritorious contributions to its foundation.

The Silver Medal features an obverse inscription that translates to "Five Years," and a reverse inscription that translates to "5th Anniversary of the Romanian People's Republic."
