History


This Order is conferred upon military personnel in recognition of gallantry in the field. It is also awarded to civilians in circumstances of exceptional bravery.

The obverse features an inscription in Yugoslavian which translates to "Death to Fascism" and "Freedom to the People". The reverse may be numbered or unnumbered.
