This Medal is conferred upon individuals within the State Police who have continuously and honourably served in their role within the Police and public security.

The Gold Medal is awarded after a minimum of 35 years of long and meritorious service, and the ribbon features a gold coloured star.

The reverse may feature the name of the recipient.
